BAUHAUS STARTER SET

Vulcan

Here we go.For the very first entry for the challenge, two units of hussars, their leader and the vulcan. My first force for WZR is a Bauhaus army. I´m trying to have them finished real quick, thats why I  choosed this color scheme; clothes are painted with a neutral grey and the armour with german field grey (both from Vallejo's range) For the backpack and boots I´ve used citadel colors (can't remember which ones... my bad memory attacks again..).

 

After the first layers where on place, I washed the clothes with black oil paint and used a brown wash for the armour. All weapons are primed black  with a boltgun metal drybrush.

For Miss Drachen I´ve used some blue at her jacket to make her stand out, as a bauhaus aristocrat should. As you can see I still haveto finish the face and arms, but now you can have a clear idea of how she is gonna look. also, her blonde hair made her easy to spot, and mark her as a VIP, as I plan to do all the Etoiles Mortant dark haired.

WARZONE RESURRECTION PAINTING CHALLENGE

Well, it´s been more than a year since my group of usual junkees of warzone and I started to hype with the Resurrection of Warzone (a.k.a WZR). I loved the Mutant Chronicles since I was a kid who bought a little capitol army, (only God knoes where those relics are).

We went a totally nuts with our pledge and for this last months we´ve made lots of jokes about receiving or not our models and how amazing would be paint them... And then, the day before Christmas my friend called me up saying that we have the models. After some drooling over the WZR minis, yesterday I discovered that Big Jim from Wargaming Shenanigans made a painting challenge and posted it on warzone facebook group. And it was an autoinclude forme.So in this next month time (till Feb. 15th), 

We will be posting the models of my Bauhaus army.And If we are lucky (and I press hard my friend as to make him take up a brush), maybe some Mishima forces.

PEANAS CASERAS I

Hacer peanas es algo que tenia medio olvidado. La gran cantidad de marcas que se dedican a hacer peanas es inmensa y eso me ha hecho un vago, pero hoy vamos a preparar peanas caseras, de trinchera en este caso. Voy a usar unas peanas con reborde, serán para un ejercito de warzone resurrection, el material que vamos a usar es muy sencillo, pasta para modelar jovi, pese a que al secar va a contraerse mucho es una masilla realmente practica y cómoda para trabajar, además es muy barata, las maderas son palitos para remover el café, ya sabéis de esa cafetería donde la gente escribe en su portátil cosas muy importantes, y un bote de textura de piedra pómez de vallejo, también algo de alambre, saque un poco de masilla miliput por si le añado algún detalle.

Primero se pone un pegote de pasta, procurar que tenga profundidad, así se podrá modelar mejor.

 

He hecho unos cráteres con la tapa de un boli, luego he  marcado los bordes con los dedos, también he ido añadiendo trozos de los palitos del café rompiéndolos con la mano, así deja unos acabados mas caseros, se supone que son los travesaños del suelo de las trincheras y que están siendo bombardeados así que es lógico que los acabados sean toscos y no maderas cortadas por el ebanista y colocadas de manera perfecta.

Por ultimo la pasta de vallejo hará las veces del barro y le da una textura a la peana, fijaos que dentro de los cráteres no he puesto, esto tendrá sentido cuando los cráteres tengan su agua y demás inmundicia típica de los campos de batalla.
